About Us

Cherry and Jessica

The heartbeat of this ministry is that women would come to know and love who God has made them to be. You were made for a purpose, and we want you to get to know that purpose. We really believe in you!

Our heart at Wellspring is to glorify God. He’s everything, and should be the center of everything we do. There are things that define us as a ministry as well, such as:

  • Teaching, modeling, and releasing Godly femininity
  • Getting women from different backgrounds and churches to hang out and worship with each other
  • Working to see greater unity in the Church and to develop a global vision for evangelism
  • Using Titus 2:3-5 as our model for how to disciple women. We offer ways to have classroom and conference settings as well as times to just hang out and get to see Jesus in each other.
  • Helping women get both spiritual and practical skills so we can live our lives more effectively for Christ
  • Providing opportunities for women to worship together and cultivate the presence of God in their daily lives

Wellspring Ladies Hanging Out

Women hanging out at a Wellspring event

Women from all walks of life, all ages, social standings, and backgrounds.

A group of women gathered together around Jesus, helping each other to better know God and live fuller lives.

Wellspring was founded in 1985 by Jubilee Fellowship as a Bible study for women in the community of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. It grew and evolved, becoming an annual conference in the early 90’s. In 1997 it became the official annual women’s conference endorsed by Grace Churches International (GCI) of which Jubilee Fellowship was a member. The first Wellspring Executive Board was formed that year. Now in 2010, Wellspring has grown beyond Jubilee Fellowship and GCI, but remains 100% dedicated to local churches. Our foundation is in the local church, and we are committed to serving local churches in every place.

Wellspring is now administrated out of the offices of Antioch International Ministries, 5117 Cliffdale Road, Fayetteville, NC 28314.

To glorify our awesome Creator and to edify His beautiful Church.
