These are all awesome inventions! I love everyone's ideas. Gloria, amen to the underwire bra predicament. Marie, your car invention is a great idea. And Susan, a chip implant that is a universal translator would be wonderful... I've seen that on Star Trek too!

A chip which, when surgically implanted into the brain, will allow us to communicate easily in any number of languages simply by changing commands in some other device which I can carry with me when I travel.

I would like to see a sugar substitute that really does substitute for sugar in every way, especially taste, but has NO calories and does NOT cause cancer.
I'd also like a remedy for sea-sickness that really works.
Surely someone could invent an underwire bra that doesn't poke.
or a "permanent" that doesn't have to be repeated every 3 months.

For my work, I'd like to see a computer program that can convert scanned material into text that can be edited. Most of my other computer wishes have been met through my new Mac.

I would REALLY like to see someone invent a toilet that both conserves water and does not get stopped up easily!!!

Like you, Jessica, I am jealous of those folks on Star Trek. But what I want is a replicator that can manufacture dinner at the push of a button. I would even promise not to use it EVERY night for dinner, but it sure would be handy tonight!

I would like a car that drives by itself. The car would be fuel effiecent and would not go above 80 miles per hour.
